Changelog

Every release of Munich, newest first.

1.0.0

The first release.

Selling. A product page you assemble: the buy box is made of blocks, so the order of title, price, bundles, benefits and buttons is yours, and anything can move under the gallery. Bundle cards built from real variants. Low stock, delivery estimate and countdown from real data only. A cart drawer with free shipping bar, upsell, order note and a cart page that does the same. A sticky buy bar that comes in once the buy box has scrolled away. Related and complementary products, quick view and quick add. Buying works without JavaScript.

Pages and sections. Forty eight sections for every template: slideshow, marquee, video, image with text, rich text, multicolumn, highlights, collage, how it works, timeline, comparison, guarantee, countdown, FAQ, logo bar, testimonials, social gallery, blog posts, newsletter, contact and contact options, plus the templates for collection, search, blog, article, page, 404, password and gift card. Header with mega menu panels, footer with large wordmark, announcement bar that rotates on a phone. Custom section and Custom Liquid for everything else, and app blocks throughout.

Design. Five color schemes with nine roles each. Three fonts, corner radii, button shape and section padding as theme settings that every section reads. Ships with the Munich preset, so the theme looks like its demo the moment it is installed.

Speed and access. The included templates load under 19 KB of minified theme JavaScript (before compression) on first load. Additional sections, Shopify features and apps can add to that. Search suggestions, quick view, carousel arrows and the video lightbox load on demand. CSS lives with the section that uses it. One stylesheet preload and one prioritized image per page. Keyboard paths through every overlay, visible focus, labels on every control, one h1 per page, alt text throughout, and motion that respects reduced motion settings.

Merchant. The Shopify account component in the header on desktop and mobile. Multi-level menus, a logo of any shape, newsletter, payment icons, country and language selectors. English, with US English throughout the editor.
